The Republicans are excluding people of America to vote.  They disenfranchise the voters by requiring them to have a picture ID. Regular people in America don't have an ID, because it's not needed anywhere else. And passports are uncommon, since only the wealthy travel. Another option for getting a picture ID is owning a gun.  So you need to be wealthy or own a gun to vote, and since the majority of Republican voters are rich liberalists and gun owners, they secure that only a selected part of the citizens can vote, and the selected part votes for The Republicans. By doing so they take away the voting rights of the ordinary people. The law of having an ID is a tool made by the Republicans to ensure they win elections.

Voter ID

Hi everyone, we want to inform you about something important in the society. There are some very strange and complicated rules, which can make it difficult for everyone without a gun license or a driver’s license to get their right to vote “back”.

Now you may think
-what makes it so difficult to vote in this country.

Let us explain; before you can vote you need to register as a voter. This is easy enough to understand but the difficult part is how you are registered as a voter, to do that you need to have an ID-card with a picture of you and your address. When you have a card with these three things, you can get your right to vote “back”.

These laws makes it difficult to vote for black people, pour people, old people and students. These laws makes it especially hard for people that want Obama as president, to vote.
Remember if you are a stereotype republican then you have nothing to fear for getting your right to vote back.

Since 2010, 18 states has made it harder to vote, and only 6 states has made it easier.

The new ID requirements

What is voter fraud?

By Ditte-Marie, Emma, Maria, Adrian and Nanna S.

In modern days, the right to vote has been debated multiply times. The most recent number the politicians pulled is the new laws about ID requirements. It is no longer possible to vote if you show up with a:
  • Social security card
  • Student license
  • Veteran photo ID card
In addition, if you live in special states, you will need to have your ID card ready. As you can see on the picture, it is very important with a legal ID in Texas for example. Some of the new laws involving ID requirements dictate that your ID must have:
  • A picture
  • Your address
  • Your birthdate
  • Your full name

Essentially, the only identification you can use is your driver license or your gun license. Since more than 21 million Americans do not have a driver license, they will find it difficult to vote. Meanwhile, people, who carry guns, are allowed to vote without trouble. The politicians, who issued the news laws, had an ulterior motive behind their actions. Even though they claim that the new laws has been issued to prevent voter fraud, the only fraud is the new laws, which prevent certain people from voting. The politicians, who made the new laws, are trying to turn aside the voters, who vote on Obama in order for the republicans to get more votes than Obama.

Voter ID scandal - encouraging young people getting a firearm licence?

People who have fought for this country, those who has lived in this country their whole life and the students, the future of our country, no longer have the edibility to vote - is this fair? What message does this give our population?

In a video made by Sarah Silverman, she describes the voter fraud in the US.
Here she mentions that students who are important for the future of the US can't use their student ID to vote but how gun owners can use their firearm permit.

Let's look back to the 1960's when African-Americans in the South states were tested for the edibility to vote. They had to pass an impossible test, the so-called literacy test. The African-Americans weren't seen as real American citizen and eligible to vote. Therefore, the test was made to be failed to prevent them from having a political influence.
Last year (November 2014) Harvard Students was given the same literacy test from the 1964 as the African-Americans were given. Not a single one of them passed. The test questions had to be done within 10 minutes. Questions both vaguely-worded and didn't define their edibility to vote.

We can all agree that the literacy test was disenfranchisement and a fake science. Can’t we all agree that the current voter issue is the same now?

Are you a victim of voter fraud? GET THE VALID ID

Are you a victim of voter fraud? you should most definitely read this and find out.

It is common knowledge that throughout the time the US government has disenfranchised certain groups of the American population from voting. What you may not know is that it is happening today.

The laws target specific forms of ID whilst allowing other comparable forms of ID. Some of the most criticized voter ID laws is that you can not use a student ID, but you can use a firearms license. Students are most likely to vote democratic (Obama) and gun enthusiasts are most likely to vote republican (Romney). As you can tell the voter laws highly favors the republican voters.

Student ID.

Firearms license.

If you live in one of the many voter suppressing states you can find the rules that apply to your state on this website:  http://www.ncsl.org/research/elections-and-campaigns/voter-id.aspxe.

Help us obtain your legal rights so we once again can live in an informed and free America without discrimination and disenfranchisement.

Jim Crow Laws - Andreas, Cecilie, Frederik, Ida H og Nanna L

We have chosen to illustrate how large groups of the society were suppressed during the Jim Crow laws. We have focused on the restriction of using public bathrooms, water fountains and cafeterias. In our case the suppressed group is BG’s freshmen, and the suppressers is the sophomores and seniors.

Black - White - Rule

"Blacks were not allowed to show public affection toward one another in public, especially kissing, because it offended Whites"

We have illustrated it in a more modern way. It’s a 2015-version, where the public affection happens on the internet.

Jim Crow Law

We chose the law that dictated that black and white people had separate drinking fountains. We illustrated the law by changing the black and white people with men and women.
